The American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce continues the discussion on vital healthcare policy issues for the next day and organizes its second Roundtable under the umbrella of the annual HealthWorld conference, planned for September 15-16, 2020 in a hybrid mode with limited physical presence and extended virtual participation. It is a fact that the pandemic that we experienced, and continue to experience, has not only caused a crisis in the healthcare systems but has also triggered a crisis in the world economy with vast consequences. Global healthcare systems severely tested. Among them, Greece’s HC system, whose deficiencies, malfunctions and structural problems emerged, urgently needed for solutions to meet the needs that arose. Reflexes were fast and the Greek Government handled adequately this unprecedented crisis and manage to adjust our daily lives drastically and very quickly, so we all earned this fight. But how will we manage to take advantage of the state of emergency that was created, overcome the problems, and build a sustainable and efficient health system without exclusions, and what is the role of technology in this strategic planning?
