Welcome to the 7th Annual Vascular Section Virtual meeting!

Dear Colleagues,

Following the success of the previous annual meetings, on behalf of the Board of the EANS Section of Vascular Neurosurgery we invite you to participate in the 7th Annual EANS Vascular Section Meeting, which will be held virtually, from Monday 7th to Tuesday 8th of September 2020.

The meeting is being held in conjunction with the annual virtual ESMINT Congress. A joint EANS/ESMINT session, also featuring a number of prominent speakers from both Europe and the US, will be held on Wednesday 9th of September at the 2020 ESMINT Virtual Congress. We encourage as many as possible of you to support and attend this joint meeting as well.

To provide a platform for as many as possible of our members to present their own work, the majority of the programme will therefore again be devoted to oral presentations of submitted abstracts and to plenary discussions.

Participate in a truly interdisciplinary virtual platform for neurosurgeons, neurointerventionalists, neuroradiologists, neurologists, and others who are interested in the treatment of cerebrovascular diseases.

With best wishes,
Andreas Gruber, Vascular Section Meeting 2020 Chairman
Andreas Raabe, Chair, EANS Section of Vascular Neurosurgery

Meeting Ethos

We have worked with the European Society of Minimally Invasive Neurological Therapy (ESMINT), to deliberately coincide the meeting with the ESMINT congress, allowing EANS delegates to attend both events. The joint day will feature keynote speakers and panel discussions. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, both events will be held virtually this year.

We are focused on promoting and consolidating a truly interdisciplinary platform for neurosurgeons, neurointerventionalists, neuroradiologists, neurologists, and others who are interested in the treatment of cerebrovascular diseases.

This year we are also proud to announce a new session on Tuesday 8 of September called EANS/ESMINT Joint session.
